Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoslidetheserveroutfromtherack
enclosure,turnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
ToreplacetheOperatingtemperatureenhancementkit,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.ConnecttheOperatingtemperatureenhancementkittothesystemboard(see“System-board
internalconnectors”onpage26forthelocationoftheOperatingtemperatureenhancementkit
connectoronthesystemboard).
Step2.Routethecablealongthechassis.Makesuretherelevantcablespassthroughthecableclips.
