Toreplaceorinstallahot-swappowersupply,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Slidethehot-swappowersupplyintothebayuntilthereleaselatchclicksintoplace.
Important:Duringnormaloperation,eachpower-supplybaymustcontaineitherapowersupply
orpower-supplyfillerpanelforpropercooling.

Step2.Connectoneendofthepowercordforthenewpowersupplyintotheacconnectorontheback
ofthepowersupply;then,connecttheotherendofthepowercordintoaproperlygrounded
electricaloutlet.
Step3.Iftheserveristurnedoff,turnontheserver.
Step4.MakesurethattheacpowerLEDonthepowersupplyislit,indicatingthatthepowersupplyis
operatingcorrectly.Iftheserveristurnedon,makesurethatthedcpowerLEDonthepower
supplyislitalso.
RemovingthePCIriser-cardbracketfromthePCIriser-cardassembly
UsethisinformationtoremovethePCIriser-cardbracketfromthePCIriser-cardassembly.

Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoslidetheserveroutfromtherack
enclosure,turnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
