Step3.Disconnectandremovetheexistingconfigurationcablefromthesystemboardandtheharddisk
drivebackplane0.Keepthecableforfutureuse.
Step4.Connectthepowercablefromthepowerpaddlecard,Y-shapedconfigurationcable(labeled"1"),
andmini-SAScable(labeled"1")totheconnectorsonharddiskdrivebackplane1.Connectthe
otherendoftheofthemini-SAScable(labeled"1")tothehardwareRAIDcardport1.
Step5.ConnecttheY-shapedconfigurationcable(labeled"0")andmini-SAScable(labeled"0")tothe
connectorsontheharddiskdrivebackplane0.Connecttheotherendoftheofthemini-SAS
cable(labeled"0")tothehardwareRAIDcardport0.ConnecttheotherendoftheY-shaped
configurationcabletothesystemboard.
Step6.Alignthebackplanewiththebackplanealignmentslotsinthechassis.
Step7.Lowerthebackplaneintotheslotinthechassisuntilthefronttabclicksintothelatchesonthe
chassis.
