Step 3. Remove the intrusion switch.
a. Disconnect the cable of the intrusion switch from the processor board. For the location of
the intrusion switch connector and cable routing information, refer to and
“Intrusion switch” on
page 161
. Route the cable out of the cable clip.
b.
Insert the tip of a slotted screwdriver into the gap between the cage and switch and push
outwards.
c.
Slide the intrusion switch as shown to remove it.
Step 4. Re-install the number 4 fan.
