RAID flash power module replacement
The RAID flash power module protects the cache memory on the installed RAID adapter. You can purchase a
RAID flash power module from Lenovo. Use this information to remove and install a RAID flash power
module (also called super capacitor).

Attention:

Power off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables. See
“Power off the server” on page 44.

sensitive components in their static-protective packages until installation, and handling these devices with
an electrostatic-discharge wrist strap or other grounding system.
