Section 3 Self-Diagnosis function
The self-diagnosis function is incorporated in the ECU.
The user can only be notified by the engine warning lamp “ ”
.
The engine warning lamp “ ” comes on when the ignition switch is set to“ON”position with the engine is
stopped.
As soon as the engine starts, warning lamp “ ”should go off.
If the fuel injection system fails, The yellow engine warming lamp should come on continually.
The defective function is memorized in the ECU.
