Grease is applied to the engine sprocket liner, oil seal
lip and O-ring .①
Then install the engine sprocket bushing on the ②
drive shaft.
Note:
We're going to use a new O-ring①
Install the oil seal baffle.
Switch gear
Install spring , gear shaft pin ④ and new O⑤ -ring .③
Install the gear switch.
As in Fig.3.5.17
Magneto rotor
Clean and wipe the oil stains from the cone holes of
magneto rotor and crankshaft.
As in Fig.3.5.18
Install the semicircular key④ on the crankshaft.
Install magneto rotor firmly.
Tighten magneto rotor nut according to specified
torque with special tool.
Tools: rotor gripper ⑤
Magneto rotor nut: 55 N · m (5.5 kg · m)

Oil pump
Before installing the oil pump, add oil to the sliding surface,
inner and outer rotor and shaft of the oil pump housing.
Add a small amount of thread sealant to the oil pump ⑥
installation screw.
Then tighten.
