SELF-DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES
Don’tdisconnect couplers from ECU, battery cable from battery, ECU ground wire harness from engine
or main fuse before confirming malfunction code (self-diagnostic trouble code) stored in memory.
To check malfunction code, read SELF-DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION carefully to have good understanding as to how
to use it.
Be sure to read “PRECAUTIONS for Electrical Circuit Service” before inspection and observe what is
written there.

Start engine and wait for 20 seconds,
and then ignition switch to the off
and wait for 15 seconds.
