Disassemble
Note
The gasoline is easy to explode; it needs to pay
special attention.
Remove the saddle.
Remove the fuel tank mounting bolt, as in Fig.4.1.1.
Disconnect the tank vent, fuel pump and sensor power
lines, and disconnect the fuel hose.
As in Fig.4.1.2.
Remove the fuel tank.
Remove tank vent line. As in Fig.4.1.3.
Inspection
Fuel tank fuel pump
If the fuel filter is soiled or corroded by the sediments,
there will be poor oil flow and even engine power loss. It
can clean the filter with using the compressed air. While it
needs to inspect if the filter is damaged. As in Fig.4.1.4.
Warning
Replace the gaskets and O-ring to avoid oil
leakage.
Re-assemble
Re-assemble the fuel tank and fuel pump in the
reverse order of removal.
