Is the voltage OK?
“P0261”or “P0262” FUEL INJECTOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION
DETECTED CONDITION POSSIBLE CAUSE
☞
To read the flash code, with the EFI diagnostic
instrument
●
Injector circuit open orshort.
●
Injectormalfunction.
●
ECUmalfunction.
INSPECTION
Step 1
1)
Remove the fuel tank.
2)
Turn the ignition switch to the “OFF”position.
3)
Check the injecto rcoupler①
for loose or poor contacts.
If OK, then measure the injector resistance.
※
FUELINJECTOR
4)
Disconnect the injector coupler ① and
measure the resistance between terminal B/G
and Pu.
Tester knob indication:Resistance(
Ω
)
5)
If OK, then check the continuity between
injector terminals and ground.
Tester knob indication:Resistance(
Ω
)
Are the resistance and continuity OK?
YES
Go to Step 2
NO
Replace the Injector with a new one.
YES
●
O/B, Gr/Bl or G/Bl wire open or
shorted to ground, or poor

B10(J2-10) connection of ECU
coupler.
●
If wire and connection are OK,
intermittent trouble or faulty
ECU.
●
Recheck each terminal and wire
harness for open circuit andpoor

If check result is not satisfactory,
replace the TP sensor with a new
one.
