CKP SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION
DETECTED CONDITION POSSIBLE CAUSE
☞ To read the flash code,with the EFI diagnostic
instrument
●
Metal particles or foreign materiel being
attached on the CKP and rotortip.
●
CKP circuit open orshort.
●
CKPmalfunction.
●
ECUmalfunction.
 INSPECTION
1)
Remove the fuel tank.
2)
Turn the ignition switch to the “OFF”position.
3)
ChecktheCKPcouplerforlooseorpoor
contacts.
If OK, then measure the CKP resistance.
4)
Disconnect theCKPcouplerand measure
theresistance.
Tester knob indication:Resistance(

5) If OK, then check the continuity between
each terminal andground.
