Remove tapered clip from valve stem.
As Fig. 3.4.20
Tools: tweezers
Remove the valve spring seat and remove the valve
inner spring and o uter spring . As in Fig.3.4.21
Remove the valve from the combustion chamber side.
As in Fig.3.4.22
Remove the valve oil seal .
Remove the valve spring from the tray.
As in Fig.3.4.23
Cylinder head deformation
Remove carbon deposits in the combustion chamber.
Remove the cylinder head gasket and clean the sealant
on the cylinder head joint surface.
Use a ruler and a feeler to check whether the joint
surface of the cylinder head is deformed.
As Fig. 3.4.24
Take a clearance reading at the location shown.
If the value exceeds the limit, the cylinder head should
be replaced.
Tools: feeler gauge
Limit of use: 0.05mm
