9. Fuel tank vent plugged 9. Engine will start initially. After a short
time running, engine will stall and will
not restart for a period of time. Can
verify if it is a vent problem by running
engine with filler cap loose. Filler cap
will act as a vent.
10. Injection pump solenoid valve 10 Refer to SECTION 5. Check lanyard
stop switch engaged or defective
11. Fuel supply pump 11. Low supply pump pressure. Refer to
SECTION 5A, 5D, and/or 5E for EDI
