Starter Motor
1. Apply a light coat of 2-4-C Marine Lubricant With Teflon to mounting surfaces and
fasteners prior to installation.
2. Position starter motor on engine.
3. Install lockwashers and nuts. Torque nuts to 68 Nm (50 lb-ft).

4. Connect wires to starter solenoid.

b-YELLOW/RED Solenoid Wire
c-Positive (+) Battery Cable
5. Coat terminals with Liquid Neoprene sealer.
6. Slide rubber boot over positive (+) terminal connection.
7. Connect battery cables to battery.
