The following function keys are available when the Select Dates dialog
box is is displayed.
Clears the field.
Inserts the current date.
Displays a calendar from which you may select a date.
You may change the date format by using the International Date Format
function on the Windows Control Panel.
Sample Information
Sample information files contain information used to control the degas operation.
Therefore, every degas operation must be linked with a sample information file
before the degas can proceed. A sample information file is comprised of:

sample identification information
•
degas conditions
Degas conditions can also exist as a separate file. This feature allows you to use
the degas conditions as many times as you wish.
Sample information files are presented in two formats: Basic and Advanced.
•
Basic presents a single window from which you select sample information
and predefined degas conditions files.
•
Advanced provides access to sample information and degas conditions, al-
lowing you to enter or edit parameters.
In addition, operator access to information in the Basic format can be Restricted
to certain fields.
To choose the format that will be displayed, select Options, Option Presenta-
tion, then select Restricted, Basic, or Advanced. For more information on these
options, refer to Option Presentation in this chapter.
