Foamtank(ifequipped)
1.Addfoamconcentrateonlytothefoamerunittank
throughthefoamertanklid(1).Thefoamerwillauto-
maticallymixtheconcentratewithwaterfromtherinse
watertankduringapplication.Makesurethefoamer
watersupplyshutoffvalve(2)locatedundertherinse
watertankisopen.
2.Anadjustmentknob(3)andpressuregauge(4)ispro-
videdonthefoamerunit/tanktoregulatethepressure
ofthefoamingsystem.Increasingthepressurewillre-
sultindryerfoam.
NOTICE:Thelterelementinthestrainer(5)underthe
rinsewatertankmayrequireperiodiccleaning,depending
onconditionofthewaterinsidetherinsetank.Cleanas
necessary.
3.Ifhardwaterisaproblem,commercialsoftening
agentsareavailable.Youcanmakeyourownsoften-
ingagentbydissolvingacommercialwatersoftening
powder(availableinmostgrocerystores)inhotwater
andaddingaportionofthismixturetoyourtankeach
timeyoull.Experimentationwillrevealthecorrect
amounttouse.Agoodstartingpointis44.4mL
(1.5USoz)pergallonofwater.
4.Heat,humidity,windandcropcoverwillalsoaffectthe
lifeoffoam.Usingagoodqualitymarkingagent,such
asGoodmark™PremiumFoamConcentratemaybe
veryimportant.
NOTE:Alwayscompletelyrinsethefoamsystembefore
changingbrandsoffoammarkingconcentrate.
NOTE:Goodmark™PremiumFoamConcentrate,“hot
weather”foamconcentratehasuptoonehourlifein
coolerweather,20–40mininhotweatherandhasgood
hardwatertolerance.
