Handling Calls
Direct Transfer
The 6915 IP phone provides a convenient direct method of transferring an existing call to another existing
call. If you have the transfer recipient on hold on another line, you can simply navigate to the recipient and
press the softkey(if configured) or Xfer softkey and the direct transfer will be performed.
Transferring Calls
Use the following procedure to transfer a call to another extension.
1. Connect to Party 1 (if not already connected). Party 1 is the party you want to transfer.
2.
Press the Xfer softkey or softkey(if configured).
3. Enter the extension number (or the outside number) to Party 2.
To cancel the transfer you can either press the Cancelsoftkey on the display screen, press , or
hang up the handset.
