5.8.7 ASC (FNC 76)
Operation:
The source data string S consists of up to 8
characters taken from the printable ASCII
character (Char) set. If less than 8 Char are used,
thedifferenceismadeupwithnullChar(ASCII
00).
The source data is converted to its associated ASCII codes. The codes are then stored in the
destination devices D, see example shown below.
Note: ASCII Char cannot be entered from a hand held programmer.
