GEAR CASE AND OIL PUMP

12.2 Removal
1. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
2. Remove the fan and fan belt.
3. Remove the tie-rod cover from the side face of the
injection pump.
4. Remove the tie-rod and tie-rod spring. Be careful
not to let the spring drop to inside of the case.
5. Remove the governor cover assembly.
6. Remove the water pump assembly.
7. Remove the alternator.
8. Remove the pump housing.
9. Remove the gear case assembly.
12.3 Inspection
Check the removed parts. If any parts are found
defective, repair and replace them.

Thoroughly clean oil line.
