4.2.1 “DEV” codes - PC errors from device
Cod. Meaning Description/solution
DEV 1
Update error:
Lock not obtained
Look for the PC that has the lock and release it
DEV 2
Update error:
Bad device ID
Software version not compliant with mainboard rmware
version;
Ethernet comunication error. Retry
DEV 3
Update error:
OPT busy
Update command is received but device is not ready to
update.
Wait for machine stop and retry.
DEV 4
Update error:
OPT not ready
Software version not compliant with mainboard rmware
version;
Ethernet comunication error. Retry
DEV 5
Update error:
FW prog
Failed to create programming thread. Restart device and
retry
DEV 6
Update error:
FW size
Not used
DEV 7
Update error:
Crc error
Software version not compliant with mainboard rmware
version; Ethernet comunication error. Retry
DEV 8
Update error:
timeout restart
After update the board does not start:
restart machine and verify board version, if version do not
match with the desired version retry | the updating board is
plugged to a wrong CAN bus connector, plug it to the cor-
rect connector and retry

Update error:
boot
The board currently updated do not change it's property to
bootable. Restart and retry if do not work change the board.

Update error:
erase error
The board currently updated do not erase ash. Restart
and retry if do not work change the board.
DEV 11
Update error:
write error
The board currently updated do not write ash. Restart and
retry if do not work change the board.
DEV -1 Generic error Restart application and device then retry
DEV -2 Lock not obtained Look for the PC that as the lock and release it
DEV -3 Mainboard calibration le not found Not used
