APPENDIX D PAIRING WITH SMART DEVICE
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Bluetooth Connection Adapter (BCA) is an option unit which is mounted at the bottom of the terminal. It
provides a connection path between the terminal and smart device through Bluetooth interface.
With this BCA option, you can use terminal handset for the incoming call to the smart device. Also, it
offers hands free conversation by using microphone and speaker of the terminal. If there is a sound
source such as music in the smart device, it is possible to listen to the sound from the speaker of the
terminal.

(1) BCA Option UNIT
BCA option unit provides two operation modes as follows.
Wired Telephone Mode
The terminal operates as an extension of communication server. The terminal starts operation
with this mode after starting up the communication server.
Mobile Phone Mode
The terminal is connected with smart device via Bluetooth.
When there is an incoming call to the smart device, it is possible to answer by lifting up the
handset of the terminal.
