VersaTrack Assembly
Use the following steps to remove the VersaTrack assembly.
1. Turn off the system power. Remove the battery and/or AC adapter if connected.
2. Remove the following as previously described:
n LCD
n base unit top cover
n keyboard
n metal keyboard support.
3. Carefully lift the latch assembly out of the system. The latch assembly is com-
prised of a small spring mechanism. Make sure that the pins in the spring mecha-
nism remain in the correct position.
4. Remove the screw that secures the VersaTrack assembly to the system frame.
