5. Click Cancel to cancel the configuration on the screen and reset the data on the screen to
the latest value of the switch.
6. Click Apply
to send the updated configuration to the switch. Configuration changes take
effect immediately.
Host Configuration
Use this page to manually map host names to IP addresses or to view dynamic DNS
mappings.
To access this page, click Sy
stem Management DNS Host Configuration.
To add a static entry to the local DNS table:
1. S
pecify the static host name to add. Each substring must be less than 64 characters in
length separated by a dot or space, and the length of the whole string must not exceed
158 characters.
2. S
pecify the IP address in standard IPv4 dot notation to associate with the host name.
3. Click Add. The
entry appears in the list below.
4. T
o remove an entry from the static DNS table, select the check box next to the entry and
click Delete.
5. T
o change the host name or IP address in an entry, select the check box next to the entry
and enter the new information in the appropriate field, and then click Apply.
6. Click Cancel
to cancel the configuration on the screen and reset the data on the screen to
the latest value of the switch.
