Figure 3 - SMC Interconnection Options on page 15 shows how the SMC can be connected to lasers,
automation equipment, and scan heads.
Software support is provided through the ScanMaster Designer Editor, the ScanMaster API high-level
.NET programming interface, or the ScanMaster Controller XML Software Development Kit. The last is
an EC1000 backwards-compatible low-level API that uses standard XML text to configure the SMC
and perform scanning jobs.
