Connector J16 (Control) Signal Descriptions

AUX_ABORT_ISO
Causes the job execution control
logic to abort the current job and
return to an idle state. This signal
must be activated using the
Interlock enable commands of the
SMC software. See the SMC
Software Reference Manual for
details.
Note: This signal is useful upon
detection of an interlock break.
AUX_COM_ISO
Optical isolator common for
signals AUX_START_ISO,
AUX_RESET_N_ISO, and
AUX_ABORT_ISO
AUX_GPI1_ISO
A marking job may contain an
instruction that causes a pause in
execution until this signal is
asserted by external equipment.
AUX_GPI2_ISO
A marking job may contain an
instruction that pauses execution
until this signal is asserted by
external equipment.
AUX_GPI3_ISO
A marking job may contain an
instruction that causes a pause in
execution until this signal is
asserted by external equipment.
AUX_GPI4_ISO
A marking job may contain an
instruction that pauses execution
until this signal is asserted by
external equipment.
AUX_GPICOM_ISO
Isolator common for General
Purpose inputs
GND
Digital ground reference
AUX_ERROR_READY_N
When de-asserted (LOW) indicates
that system is booted up and ready
for normal operation. Is asserted
(HIGH) on power-up or after a HW
exception is detected.
AUX_JOBACTIVE
Asserted if a job is active but not
necessarily marking yet (e.g.,
waiting on a trigger input).
