Asserted a programmable time prior
to a sequence of mark instructions;
de-asserted after a programmable
period of laser inactivity.

Asserted when the laser is active.
LASER_DATA6
Digital data representing a laser
power setting

Programmable laser modulation or
Q-switch pulse stream
