Why does the Omron Monitor display '-----' after I turn it on?
    • S
      Sara DavidsonJul 29, 2025
The display may remain on “-----” after power on due to several reasons. First, the startup compensation timer setting might be too long. It can be set up to 99.9 s, so change the setting to an appropriate value. Second, the HOLD input might be ON. Turn OFF the HOLD input, as the display will remain on “-----” while it is active after power is turned on. Finally, check the RESET input and ensure it is turned OFF.

What to do if the Omron K3HB-H input value is outside the measurement range?
    • I
      ispencerAug 2, 2025
If the input value is outside the possible measurement range or the input is faulty, you can try the following. First, change the input type setting to an appropriate value in the initial setting level. Second, quickly return the input to within the possible measurement range. If the problem persists after these measures, repair may be necessary, so contact the point of purchase or your OMRON representative.

What happens if the Omron Monitor measurement value is out of scale?
    • R
      Raymond PerezAug 7, 2025
If the measurement value after scaling exceeds the range (greater than 99,999 or less than ?19,999), the operation will continue with a measurement value of 99,999 or ?19,999. If there is an operating problem, adjust the input range and scaling value until the measurement value falls within the range and place the switch below the E slot toward the front (K3HB-H only). Also, the scaling value may be inappropriate, so review it in the initial setting level.

Why doesn't the Omron K3HB-H comparative output turn off?
    • P
      Phillip PenningtonAug 11, 2025
If the comparative output of your Omron Monitor doesn't turn OFF even when the measurement value is back to normal, it might be due to the hysteresis setting being too large; change the setting to an appropriate value. Alternatively, check if the “output refresh stop” is set and turn it OFF.
