27 Troubleshooting
Cause:
There is an alarm or a warning.
Remedy:
If there is an alarm, only these commands can be transmitted:
Status check (STS)
I/O monitor (IOM)
Operating data (RTD)
Error history (ERH)
Alarm reset (ARS)
Error number (ENO)
If there is a warning, only these commands can be transmitted:
Status check (STS)
I/O monitor (IOM)
Operating data (RTD)
Error history (ERH)
Alarm reset (ARS)
Error number (ENO)
Shutter control (SHT); close request and status request only
Reception mode (MKM); read request only
For LP-400/V compatibility mode, different commands apply. For
details, refer to the “Serial Communication Command Guide: LP-400/
V compatible mode”.
Cause:
Two or more commands are transmitted at the same time.
Remedy:
When you send a command, always confirm the response from the laser
marking system before sending the next command.
Cause:
The “LP-400/V compatibility” setting is wrong.
Remedy:
To use the command format of the LP-400/V series, select the
command mode “LP-400/V compatibility” in the “System settings” of
Laser Marker NAVI smart.
To use the standard command format, disable “LP-400/V
compatibility” or switch the command mode with the Command mode
(RSM) command.
