Using this guide
Parrot strongly recommends that you read the following information and instructions thoroughly
before your first flight.
- This guide is specific to two drone configurations:
o ANAFI USA coupled with the Parrot Skycontroller 3, or
o ANAFI USA co uple d with the Parrot Skycontroller 4.
o Freeflight 6 USA flight application.
Note: ANAFI US A requires the FreeFlight 6 USA app to fly, and to make sure your drone and
controller are fully up to date with the latest features.
- Read entirely at least once. It answers most questions that most users encounter when they
use ANAFI U SA.
- Keep it for reference and stay alert for updates. Updates are advertised on all Parrot websites
and social media. These updates are mandatory and must be systematically performed prior
to any flight to ensure maximum performance and safety.
- The Table of contents, on page 6, is active. Click a title to access the corresponding section.
- This online user guide has no index. Use [ctrl]-F (Windows) or [command]-F (Mac) to browse
all occurrences of any keyword (flight, preferences, gimbal, Android, iOS, Flir, Boson®, photo,
EV, ISO, and so on).
Important: Parrot strongly recommends that you regularly refer to the Release Notes ANAFI USA
available on the Parrot website, to ensure that you have the latest versions of the drone and controller
firmware, and FreeFlight 6 USA App. If you are an offline user, you must contact your local Parrot
Partner or Parrot Contact to obtain the .apk file to perform an offline system update.
Refer to the FreeFlight 6 USA offline update via APK file (Android users) chapter for more information.
