2.5 Removal of Flush-Head Fasteners:
E-drill recommends a precision Vacuum Flush Head Locator (VFHL) tool, for
precision removal of flush fasteners in structure to be re-used. The VFHL is also
especially developed for composite structure, where its use protects not only the
fastener hole, but also the surrounding gel-coat skin.
The standard kit (p/n EDF1321) comprises an air-driven vacuum pump, vacuum
locator and LED bomb sight. There is also a range of special vacuum locators
available for tight areas, wing edges and curved locations.
