1.3 Minimum Requirements to operate the
phyFLEX-i.MX 6
Basic operation of the phyFLEX-i.MX 6 only requires supply of a
+5 V input voltage with 2 A load and the corresponding GND
connection.
These supply pins are located at the phyFLEX-Connector X1:
VDD_5V_IN_R: X1 A1, A2, A3, B1, B2, B3
Connect all +5 V VCC input pins to your power supply and at least
the matching number of GND pins.
Corresponding GND: X1 A4, A10, A16, B4, B7, B13
Please refer to section 2 for information on additional GND Pins
located at the phyFLEX-Connector X1.
Caution:
We recommend connecting all available +5 V input pins to the power
supply system on a custom carrier board housing the
phyFLEX-i.MX 6 and at least the matching number of GND pins
neighboring the +5 V pins.
In addition, proper implementation of the phyFLEX-i.MX 6 module
into a target application also requires connecting all GND pins
neighboring signals that are being used in the application circuitry.
