Architecture
The Pegasus architecture is based
on a state-of-the-art PMC Sierra 8011
I/O processor coupled with 512 MB of
DDR2 SDRAM memory and a world
class enterprise-proven RAID engine.
Protocol Support
Pegasus supports Thunderbolt
TM
technology, providing two channels
with 10 Gb/s of throughput in both
directions simultaneously.
Thunderbolt supports daisy-chaining
up to six (6) high-speed peripheral
devices, including external disks,
video capture devices, and a Mini
DisplayPort monitor.
Pegasus has two Thunderbolt ports,
as required for daisy-chaining.
