Connecting the Power
To power the Pegasus unit:
1. Attach the power cord on the back of the Pegasus unit.
See page 7,Figure 3.
2. Plug the other end into a power source.
3. Press the Power Button.
See Figure 5. The Power Button turns orange.
It takes about 30 seconds to boot the Pegasus unit. When fully booted:
• The Power Button LED turns blue.
• The drive carrier Power/Status LEDs turn blue.

The Connection LEDs turn blue when there is a proper connection on that
Thunderbolt port.
Shutting down the Pegasus
To shut down the Pegasus unit:
Press and hold the Power Button until the Power Button LED turns red. When
you release the Power Button, the LED goes dark.
