Connection Problems
Connection problem troubleshooting includes:
• Cables (below)
• Daisy-Chains (page 119)
Cables
While the installation of the cables and components was correct, they don't
function properly, or at all, because:
• A connector is dirty or corroded
• A connector is loose or damaged
• A cable looks OK outside but has an open circuit inside
• The wrong cable was used. See the Note below
Be sure to use approved cables because:
• They are the proper ones for your system.
• They are sold in brand-new condition.
Note
Mini Display extension cables cannot be used to connect data
devices such as Pegasus to Thunderbolt-enabled computers.
Mini Display extension cables can only be used to connect display
devices to Pegasus.
