4. Specify the LDAP Port in the Port field.
5. Enter the Search Base. The Search base tells the LDAP
server which part of the external directory tree to search.
The search base may be something equivalent to the
organization, group of external directory.
6. Click Save to save the settings.
7. Click Cancel to cancel the modified changes.
To add a new Role Group
8. In the LDAP Settings Page, select a blank row and click
Add Role Group to open the Add Role group Page as
shown in the screenshot below.

9. In the Role Group Name field, enter the name that identi-
fies the role group.
10.In the Role Group Search Base field, enter the path from
where the role group is located to Base DN.
11. In the Role Group Privilege field, enter the level of privi-
lege to assign to this role group.
12.Click Add to save the new role group and return to the
Role Group List.
Note:
Default Port is 389. For Secure connection, default port is 636.
Note:
Searchbase is a string of 4 to 63 alpha-numeric characters.
It must start with an alphabetical character.
Special Symbols like dot(.), comma(,), hyphen(-), under-
score(_), equal-to(=) are allowed.
Example: ou=login,dc=domain,dc=com

Role Group Name is a string of 255 alpha-numeric characters.
Special symbols hyphen and underscore are allowed.

Search Base is a string of 255 alpha-numeric characters.
Special symbols hyphen, underscore and dot are allowed.
