Pump Efficiency Limit
Enter the minimum allowable efficiency for the DI pump. Typical values range
from 60-90%. Alarm will trigger if actual efficiency is below the limit for 10
seconds. Higher efficiency values may cause alarms to trigger more often, lower
efficiency values may never trigger the alarm.
Pump PWM
Frequency
Used to set the desired PWM coil frequency (default is 60 Hz). Refer to the PWM
control valve manufacturer specifications for recommended PWM frequency.
PWM High Side Drive
Enables the valve driver to modulate the high side of the PWM valve and provide
a constant ground return. Typically selected when using a PWM Boost Box.
Quick Key Select
Select the following quick key options to set the softkey options available during
operation: Rate, +/- (Bump), and Pressure.
Rate Delta +/-
Sets the increment by which the target rate will increase or decrease when using
the +/- buttons during an active application.
Rate Presets
Enter desired rate presets to allow the operator to quickly switch between target
rates during field operation in the automatic rate control mode.
Response Rate
The response rate has a range of 1 to 100 and the setting determines how
aggressively the target is controlled to. Increasing this value will cause the system
to respond more quickly. Decreasing it will cause a slower response. If the system
is slow to reach the target value consider increasing it.
Field Computer Rate
Control
Enable to allow the field computer (if equipped) to modify target application rate
based on prescription map and/or task controller on-screen rate entry fields.
Switch Mapping Setup Switch mapping setup is indicated by highlighting the section widths.
Sparge Pressure Cal
Calibrates the sparge pressure sensor (if present) to a known value. The system
will calibrate this automatically during setup but the value can be adjusted at any
time. Calibrate to a known pressure using a pressure gauge or turn the product
pump off and re-set the value to zero if sparge pressure is unknown.
Speed Cal
Enter the Speed Cal value of radar speed sensor (if equipped). Reference radar
manufacturer's specification for recommended value and perform distance
calibration to ensure accuracy.
Standby Pump PWM
Enter desired pump PWM duty cycle percent when all sections are off. This is
utilized when standby pressure control is not available (pressure sensor not
available or direct injection is installed).
Tank Capacity Enter maximum capacity of the tank.
Tank Volume Enter the current tank level.
Tip Size
Displays the current tip size. Select this option and use the drop down list to
change the tip size as necessary to ensure accurate application during field
operations.
Pressure Transducer
Type
Select the pressure sensor range from the drop down menu. Refer to OEM for
transducer installed, or Raven part numbers.
Control Valve Type
A PWM type control valve is required for proper operation of the Hawkeye nozzle
control system. When operating with the Hawkeye nozzle control system, the
valve type setting cannot be modified.
Virtual Section
Control
Virtual section control divides the existing section valves into a maximum of 16
sections across the boom.
Zero Speed Shutoff
Enable the zero speed shutoff feature to allow the Hawkeye system to
automatically shut off product application if the vehicle speed is slower than 0.5
mph [0.8 km/h]. If the zero speed shutoff feature is engaged during a job, a zero
speed alert will be displayed for the operator.
