About Data Security for Copying
When the optional Copy Data Security Unit is installed, if you scan a document
that was printed using the Data Security for Copying function, the scanned im-
age that is sent or stored is entirely grayed out. For details, ask the administrator.
Important
❒ When a document that was printed using the Data Security for Copying func-
tion is scanned, the machine does not beep and an entry is not added to the
unauthorized copying log.
❒ Sending or storing a document that has been printed using the Data Security
for Copying function takes longer than normal.
