1. Insert the SD card in SD card Slot 2
(lower slot).
2. Select SP5887 then touch
[EXECUTE].
Touch [Execute] in the message when
you are prompted.
5888 [Personal Information Protect]
001 - *CTL
Selects the protection level for logs.
[0 to 1 / 0 / 1}
0: No authentication, No log protection
1: No authentication, Protected logs (only
an administrator can see the logs)
5894 [External Charge Unit Setting] Used with the external key counter/coin
counter using the optional 20 Interface Unit Type A 20 pin connection.
001 Switch Charge Mode *ENG
[0 to 2 / 0 / 1/step]
Pattern 0 (SP5-894-001=0: Default setting) Default pattern which allows
separate counter for print, FAX (reception), B/W copy, and Full-color copy.
Pattern 1 (SP5-894-001=1) Separate counter for B/W and color is available
under this pattern. However, it is not possible to distinguish between Copier
and Printer outputs.
Pattern 2 (SP5-894-001=2) With this setting, it is possible to distinguish
between B/W and color outputs for both the Copier and Printer. However, it is
not possible to manage FAX reception documents.
5896 [Copy/PrinterPriority]

5907 [Plug & Play Maker/Model Name]

Selects the brand name and the production name for Windows Plug & Play.
This information is stored in the NVRAM. If the NVRAM is defective, these
names should be registered again.
After selecting, press the "Original Type" key and "#" key at the same time.
When the setting is completed, the beeper sounds five times.
