2. Left scanner cover ( p.124 "Left Scanner Cover Removal").
3. Right scanner cover ( p.125 "Right Scanner Cover Removal").
4. Right side cover ( p.104 "Right Side Cover Removal").
5. ADF unit ( p.111 "ADF Unit Removal").
6. Raise the flatbed unit to the up position.
7. Controller board shield ( p.48 "Controller Board Shield").
8. Disconnect connector J28, connector J13, connector J30, and sensor cables from connector J12
on the controller board.
9. Using a flatbed screwdriver, depress the lower tab on the kickstand, and lift the kickstand out of the
left rear frame assembly.
10. Remove the e-clip (A) from the flatbed hinge rod.
