6. Remove the LED light tube (B) from the upper card reader cover.
7. Pull the two tabs (C) back and remove the card from the card reader housing.
• When replacing the light tube, cover the tube with a small piece of black electrical tape if possible.
Upper and Lower Card Reader Cover Removal
1. Scanner front cover ( p.65 "Scanner Front Cover Removal")
2. Card reader ( p.42 "Card Reader Removal").
3. Remove the four screws (A) fastening the upper and lower card reader covers.
Card Reader Cable Removal
1. Scanner front cover ( p.65 "Scanner Front Cover Removal"l)
2. Operator panel keypad assembly ( p.90 "Operator Panel Keypad Removal"l)
3. Release the tabs on the rear of the operator panel display and tilt it upright.
