6.5 INITIALIZATION OF BOOTSTRAP

25. Date and time can be set (see OM chapter 8.2.13 - Real time clock ON / OFF):

26. Photometer 5010 performs a reset operation. The display shows an error:

28. The serial number can be set by applying the service tool S4.

29. The assignment of filter positions has to be done if there are additional filters build in
(e.g. 623 nm). Apply the tool S6.

32. Make a dark level adjustment by applying utility U1 in combination with flow-through system.

The utility is working specific to the current adaptor. An adjustment of the standard cuvette
adaptor should be done later on.
33. Make a media test by applying utility U2.

34. Perform a pump calibration by applying MODE FUNCTION - Pump utilities - Calibration.

35. Switch off Photometer 5010. Change the cuvette adaptor. Switch on Photometer 5010
36. Make a dark level adjustment by applying utility U1 in combination with standard cuvette
adapter.

37. Control the settings by applying utility U12.
