5. Using a flathead screwdriver, carefully pry the fan cover plate off of the
fan housing.
6. Remove the two screws that secure the fan to the drive frame. You must
insert a Phillips head screwdriver through the hole in the front of the fan
housing to reach and remove the screws. Remove the fan from the drive.
Install the Cooling Fans
Install the cooling fans in reverse order of removal.
• Verify that the air flow direction arrow on the fans is pointing toward
the heatsink on the drive.
