Promotion
The PROMOTION key allows you to account for Promotional items. Pressing this key will
remove an item's cost from the sale, and the Promotion item will not be added to the PLU
sales total, but it is added to the item sales counter. If stock (inventory) reporting is used, the
item will be subtracted from inventory.
1. Register an item. For example, press
PLU 1 programmed with a price of £1.00
for price level 1.

2. Press the PROMOTION key. The
message "PROMOTION" displays.

3. Enter the item to be Promoted. You can
not enter an item that has not been
already registered in this transaction.
