2.3.3.2 Failure detection
The failure detection settings can be found under this path:
System > Network > Failure Detection
Detection switch:
The detection function can be switched on or off.
Detection type:
Here you can enter the IP address and the frequency in minutes how often this IP addressed
should be pinged.
Trigger action:
In case of a network failure, the selected action will be executed:
 Enable alarm output (high impedance, low impedance)
 Record a video clip
 Send message by FTP These function can only be enabled provided
 Send message by e-mail the required server connection can still be
established.
Click on <Save>.
