4.1.2 Vacuum Pump Maintenance
Regular inspection can prevent unnecessary
damage and repairs. Intake and exhaust filters
require periodic inspection and replacement. Initial
inspection is suggested at 500 hours. After that,
user should determine the frequency. Keeping filter
clean can prevent most problems. Dirty filter
decrease unit performance and service life.
WARNING -- Muffler box may become very hot
during operation. Do not touch these parts until unit
has been turned off and allowed to cool.
