5 Power Supply
5.1 Mains Power Supply AC
Attention: Before opening the cabinet, make sure that all AC power is disconnected!
Warning: Internally there are live parts when switched on that may cause electric shock. A trained
professional must make the electrical installation.

5.2 Optional DC power supply
There is an option for the Gateway to be powered by DC e.g. using Solar panel with battery backup.
IMPORTANT
Never install the battery backup or solar panel components (or any other additional component) inside the
Gateway enclosure.
To connect an optional DC power supply:
Warning: Internally there are live parts that may cause
electric shock when switched on. The electrical
installation must be made by a trained professional.
Disconnect the AC voltage cable from the mains power
supply and disconnect and remove it from the Gateway.
Use the cable from the external DC feed pull it through
the cable fixing screw.
Connect the DC voltage to the green DC input terminal
connector indicated below. Ensure the polarity is correct!
