To facilitate the operation and check the current VCR mode information, the following OSD (On Screen Display)
will appear on the TV screen when using this Unit.
• If the clock is not set, the time and date will not be displayed.
Each time ON SCREEN on the remote control unit is pressed, the display on the TV screen changes the mode
in the following sequence:
• AUTO mode ................... The current function status or the number of the channel will be displayed in the
upper section of the TV screen for about 3 seconds.
• FULL mode ....................
Program channel position, Function status, Real time counter, Clock display will be displayed.
• Counter mode ................ DPSS, Real time counter will be displayed.
• OFF mode ...................... Does not display indicators (It is recommended to set DISPLAY off when this
unit for playback and dubbing.).
Each time DISPLAY on the remote control unit is pressed, the VCR Front Panel Display changes the mode in
the following sequence:
• Channel setting mode .. The number of the channel will be displayed. It does not display during playback.
• Tape counter mode ....... The current tape position will be displayed.
• Clock mode .................... The current time will be displayed.
This Unit displays the information shown below on the VCR Front Panel Display depending on the operation status.
Display Examples
• Tape counter is displayed during playback, fast forward or rewind operation.
• When the power is turned off, the clock is displayed and the VCR Front Panel Display becomes darker.
• The display will return to the original mode (counter or clock display) 3 seconds after the VCR enters the operation mode.
