Then cal menue offers:
• Zero Adjust – common zero-point adjustment (concentration-free path).
• Zero Adjust Stack – zero-point adjustment with on stack installed probe which is purged
with dry zero gas (e. g. nitrogen). Refer to chapter 9„Test gas measurement with GPP pro-
bes“.
‡ Activate Calibration mode ("cal" key), use the arrow keys to choose the Zero Adjust or
Zero Adjust Stack menu option, and press the "Enter" key.
‡ Confirm your request. The zero-point adjustment is carried out, while the message

When the zero-point adjustment has been completed, either a positive confirmation or an
error message is displayed.
Adjustment successful
‡ Choose Measuring mode or define further parameter settings.
Adjustment not possible
An error message indicates that an malfunction occurred during the adjustment procedure.
The flashing "Malfunction" LED indicates that one or more error messages are pending.
‡ Switch to Diagnosis mode and correct the fault, see Troubleshooting, Page page 93.
6.5 Starting Measuring mode
This Chapter describes the final preparations at the measuring point before der GM35
Probe Model can start Measuring mode.
For this purpose, the SR unit with mounted measuring probe must be installed at the mea-
suring point.
‡ If the system was adjusted at a different location, carefully transport the adjusted SR unit
with measuring probe to the measuring point.
The following steps must be carried out in the specified order
To prevent damage to health and the measuring system, make sure that you carry out the
steps below in the specified order and in accordance with the relevant safety instructions.
In particular, only insert the SR unit with measuring probe in the measurement gas duct in
accordance with the instructions in Section6.5.3. In systems using a purge-air supply, the
purge-air supply must be put into operation first as described in Chapter 6.5.1.
6.5.1 Starting up the purge-air supply

This Chapter only applies to GM35 configurations with purge-air supply, that is, those using
a GMP measuring probe. Otherwise, continue with Chapter 6.5.3.
The purge-air unit has been installed with the device (see Pages page 44), and has been
checked.
