4.5 Allocations
Devices, lines, and inputs/outputs of the physical structure are linked with the corre-
sponding elements of the logical structure using the SWE11. In the case of interactive and
AnalogPLUS devices, the localization data (bus address and, in the case of interactive
devices, the ID number) are also allocated.
4.5.1 Interactive and AnalogPLUS devices (after localization)
Principle
Building layouts/logical connections (logical structure) and hardware configuration
(physical structure) are produced by the SWE11. The lowest levels of both of these struc-
tures – logical elements and physical devices – are linked to one another.
During address allocation, the location data on the CC/CI11 main control unit are also
registered in the form of a tree structure. This structure corresponds to the physical ar-
rangement of the installed hardware, but contains only the data necessary for location,
i.e.: bus addresses, ID numbers (interactive devices only), device models, address al-
location localization indexes.
Using the SWE11, the localization structure data must be assigned to the devices of the
physical structure/elements of the logical structure that have already been linked. The
reference for assignment is the address allocation localization index or the device ID (in-
teractive devices only).
