7.2 Upload localization data (CC/CI11 SWE11)
Important restrictions for the AnalogPLUS system:
As soon as at least 1 device has been allocated after uploading, all devices present in the localization structure
must also be allocated.
On completion of allocation, the configuration must always be downloaded to the control unit.
The localization data are copied when being uploaded from the CC/CI11 control unit into
the SWE11. This means that the data remain present in the control unit afterwards. The
localization data in the SWE11 are always overwritten during the upload procedure. This
means that the localization data can be uploaded to the SWE11 several times during the
localization procedure. In this way it is possible to check from time to time if the localiza-
tion indexes automatically allocated by the control unit, still match the indexes entered
manually in the commissioning list.
CAUTION:
Upon downloading, the localization data in the control unit are erased! Therefore data
which must be retained must first be copied by uploading into the SWE11.
If no localization nodes are available in the control unit memory, the localization data in
the SWE11 are overwritten with a blank structure. In that case, it is not possible to subse-
quently switch to the localization structure. This situation can only occur if configuration
data have already been loaded into the control unit on a previous occasion ( page 95).
Procedure:
Connect serial interfaces of the maintenance PC (COM1) with the CC/CI11 control unit
(connectors ST2 on E3X10x or B3Qxxx, or connectors ST6 on E3X120) via modem
box Z3W050/51 + B3D040 adapter box or via modem box B3D021
Start up SWE11 (with software key inserted)
Load configuration data for the CC/CI11 control unit
Begin the transfer of the localization data from the CC/CI11 to the SWE11
Function Comm. Fast Upload Loc. PC (B3D021 needed)
Function Comm. Upload Loc. PC
When the upload has been successfully completed, the message ’Operation suc-
cessful’ is displayed on the SWE11
